Hibernate does not work, just locks the computer instead of it - Microsoft Community


i have windows 10 , when press hibernate, instead of laptop shutting down, goes lock screen mode.

sleep, shutdown , restart button starts perfectly. it's hibernate not working. 

hybrid sleep turned off , turned of fast start if when got laptop, set in fast start up.

have tried multiple ways/ solutions can search through internet , none of them working.

my laptop model is:
asus rog g752vt
gtx 970m
got laptop last april 24, 2016.

kindly provide following information assist better concern.

  • are getting error messages? if so, send screenshot.
  • what changes have made prior issue?
  • when last time able hibernate computer?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
