Laptop wakes up during the night. - Microsoft Community

hey, have problem. i'm sick of having type in pw every time. plus there's thing, quite scary. laptop turns on late @ night when i'm sleeping. happens every night, if shut down or press , hold power button kill computer. when wake up, laptop on , fan running, means processor working. display off. weird. scary.

do think must go windows 7.

have @ task scheduler , see if there items scheduled run in middle of night. 

open command prompt (admin)

type or copy/paste

powercfg -waketimers > press enter

it should tell scheduled wake computer up.

use , see on.

powercfg - lastwake

might tell woke during night.

device manager solution

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
