Unable to use taskbar - Microsoft Community


hey there. yesterday night using pc , taskbar stopped working automatically. dont have idea happened. share haven't manually started update dont know whether update done or not.

i can see taskbar cant see of pinned apps there. cant open startmenu too.

with regard query, suggest it's best re-register taskbar , start menu using powershell command. use powershell command, please follow steps below:

  1. press windows key , search for windows powershell.
  2. right-click windows powershell , select run administrator.
  3. copy , paste command below:
    get-appxpackage -allusers | foreach {add-appxpackage -disabledevelopmentmode -register "$($_.installlocation)\appxmanifest.xml"}
  4. hit enter to execute command.
  5. it may take few minutes complete. once it's done, reboot pc changes take effect.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
