Windows 10 Creators Update hangs at at startup and most functions are - Microsoft Community


hi, got laptop update windows 10 creators update last night. , seem have more issues coming since after update. 

laptop's os on ssd know startup , else lightning fast. after update last night, after going windows, whole system hangs minute or so. after looks though ok go, plot twist, whole taskbar doesn't work until few more minutes. 

opening apps since after update such pain in butt. write half essay while waiting google chrome , word open after startup. windows search likes freeze, , cause domino effect start button , apps pin on taskbar. 

the taskbar buggy. click on start button once , start menu doesn't pop up. pops out , boom, hangs there until couple of seconds me click button again close it. 

the settings app doesn't want work of time , again, else, hangs long time, it's pretty irritating live by. don't me started control panel, open , closes along restart of windows explorer. 

, best thing, update happened when left laptop running , went sleep. 

so question is? possible fix registry or settings? or i'll have wait microsoft release update fix these problems. im sure i'm not 1 these issues right?

hi dan,

there several reasons why of applications , programs act differently after update. can caused software conflict or corrupted system files. isolate concern, recommend perform clean boot. being used diagnose , troubleshoot windows problems.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
