Completely blue screen when booting up Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

when turn on laptop, starts up, goes boot windows 10. windows icon appears, that. no loading circle, no password bar, icon. then, after 5-10 minutes, screen turns blue. no error message or anything. tried making recovery disc, , new windows install disc, same thing happened. how can fix it?

try whichever 1 of these methods work access advanced startup options in windows 10.  if none of other methods work you'll need create windows 10 installation media on pc, plug problem pc, power while pressing bios boot menu key.

from menu choose uefi verison of media device if offered, if not choose plain vanilla version.  when loads, browse second screen repair computer link, troubleshoot options, advanced. 

try startup repair, system restore , if don't go troubleshoot options reset windows 10 pc.

if nothing else work use same media clean install windows 10 compiles best install of windows 1 can possibly have.  includes how rescue files first if needed using booted media. 

you should able boot media.  failure user failure.  if not use whichever method works here clear cmos - 3 ways clear cmos - reset bios.
