Upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 slowness - Microsoft Community


hello all,

i have upgraded laptop windows 7 windows 10 , can take me on hour log in once have put password in.

i work in have understanding of troubleshooting if has suggestions please let me know!

i have put laptop on high performance mode, tried fast setup , no luck.

to assist you concern, let run system file checker to identify , troubleshoot error.

you can follow steps through fix windows update errors using dism or system update readiness tool to check update errors.

note: please perform clean boot on pc.   

clean boot temporarily disables third party applications microsoft non-essential services basic drivers run. find third-party software can cause of issue.   

here steps:

  1. from start, search msconfig.   
  2. select system configuration from search results.   
  3. on services tab of system configuration dialog box, tap or click select hide microsoft services check box, , tap or click disable all.   
  4. on startup tab of system configuration dialog box, tap or click open task manager.   
  5. on startup tab in task manager, each startup item, select item , click disable.   
  6. close task manager.   
  7. on startup tab of system configuration dialog box, tap or click ok, , restart computer.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
