Windows Media Player and Groove Music have BOTH quit working and I - Microsoft Community

well, may wasting time here goes. along of other people in world, had system upgraded windows 10. had 2 places tp play music, groove music , windows media player. both doing fine till month ago. windows media player quit altogether. seem start quit message there "problem" , couldn't run, telling me notify me if solution found. has done same thing every time try run it. groove music, had been playing songs requested to. suddenly, month ago, quit working. if try play song opens in past , but, instead of playing tune, starts doing inventory of songs can find in entire system. on 1 song waited see do. kept doing search on 2 hours spinning wheel. gave , closed it. then, see do, clicked play next song. started stupid search on again. there way these 2 programs running smoothly again? should give on these 2 non-workers , try find else? assistance appreciated. time.
