Icons locating to 2nd monitor, Windows 10x64 Pro - Microsoft Community


i'm running windows 10 pro on home laptop. i've got 2 monitors setup, 1 on laptop , 22" acer using hdmi output.

since 1 set primary, have system tray on monitor, in keeping normal windows conventions, have icons on primary monitor. reason, seemingly @ random, when system goes sleep, windows move desktop icons other monitor.


can manually pull icons primary, it's little frustrating , have believe it's fixable if causes found.

the laptop sager i7-6700, 16 gb ram, 256 gb ssd, 1 tb hd. i've had happened using both intel graphics on processor external nvidia 960 video card.

right click on desktop on laptop , display settings.

look around , see can change things.

did upgrade win 7 win 10 when kept getting messages telling me needed update before stop supporting win 7, , far must dislike win10.  i've had lot of problems, main being lot of times when turn on laptop, blank screen.  the laptop on , running, there light coming screen can't past screen.  at 1 point, closed screen go sleep, open screen , fine.  that doesn't work either - laptop won't go sleep.  i've tried going safe mode, messing different settings nothing has worked.  i install updates windows recommends - i'm @ loss , frustrated.  anyone have ideas on how fix blank screen logons?  is video driver issue??  i appreciate before frustrated , throw laptop out window.  :)  thanks in advance. answers post should include minimum information. 1.  device type. ie pc, laptop, tablet, surface. 2.  os type, home, pro, executive, etc 3.  current build....

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
