Login Screen Blank - Microsoft Community


after shutting lid of laptop or putting sleep, cannot log in after come continue working on computer.  i've had no issues until week ago.  when computer wakes up, password screen pops normal, except blank. there no user icon or place input password (or hit sign in button if i've disabled password).  the icons on login screen power button, ease of access button, , wifi button.  other that, there noting can do.

once restart computer, have no issues getting login screen, , can enter password , led desktop. issue happens when putting computer sleep. every time walk away computer , falls asleep, have restart it, losing work have on computer.  

any known fixes?

windows 10 version 1607 (kb4015438) 64 bit

intel i5 processor

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

did upgrade win 7 win 10 when kept getting messages telling me needed update before stop supporting win 7, , far must dislike win10.  i've had lot of problems, main being lot of times when turn on laptop, blank screen.  the laptop on , running, there light coming screen can't past screen.  at 1 point, closed screen go sleep, open screen , fine.  that doesn't work either - laptop won't go sleep.  i've tried going safe mode, messing different settings nothing has worked.  i install updates windows recommends - i'm @ loss , frustrated.  anyone have ideas on how fix blank screen logons?  is video driver issue??  i appreciate before frustrated , throw laptop out window.  :)  thanks in advance. answers post should include minimum information. 1.  device type. ie pc, laptop, tablet, surface. 2.  os type, home, pro, executive, etc 3.  current build....
