Password sign in - Microsoft Community


want know why can't use 4 letter password before . friend has windows 10 has password 4 letters. can use pin numbers , , password required 8 symbols including upper case letter , numbers ... why don't stark fixing problems ??? i'm tired of struggling kinds of bugs didn't pay more attention to... want 4 letter password on own computer!!! don't want write passwords 5 minutes every single time sign anything... have enough apps make me please fix problem!!!!!!!

are logging in local account or microsoft account? because latter gives direct access microsoft services on line including ability make financial transactions microsoft (and other on line services) require complex password reduce risk of account being hacked.

"like before" indicate local account, option xp/vista/7 giving access local pc.

go settings, accounts. "your info" selected on left have option "switch local account"?

if logging in on-line complex password requirements enforces. when set computer there option use local account start initial dialogues hid well

apart using pin option make change can elect use password want (even none). generate warning having access on-line services.

if make change , try connect microsoft service 1st time read dialogue carefully. services default take through turning on microsoft account login again , option log in can bit obscure.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

did upgrade win 7 win 10 when kept getting messages telling me needed update before stop supporting win 7, , far must dislike win10.  i've had lot of problems, main being lot of times when turn on laptop, blank screen.  the laptop on , running, there light coming screen can't past screen.  at 1 point, closed screen go sleep, open screen , fine.  that doesn't work either - laptop won't go sleep.  i've tried going safe mode, messing different settings nothing has worked.  i install updates windows recommends - i'm @ loss , frustrated.  anyone have ideas on how fix blank screen logons?  is video driver issue??  i appreciate before frustrated , throw laptop out window.  :)  thanks in advance. answers post should include minimum information. 1.  device type. ie pc, laptop, tablet, surface. 2.  os type, home, pro, executive, etc 3.  current build....
