What are the dangers of adding DLLHOST.exe to the DEP exclude - Microsoft Community


i have client getting "com surrogate has stopped working" errors every time tries printing windows 10 enterprise 64-bit surface pro 4 xerox workcentre 7845 , person running error.

the printer on network queue (server 2012 r2) , using newest version of global pcl driver.

after doing kinds of digging, found adding dllhost.exe dep exclusion list prevents error showing up; however, don't know how risky may be.

can shed light on this?
