Encrypted External Drive that cannot be opened. - Microsoft Community

i have external drive encrypted bitlocker cannot opened. when connect pc, says device working dialogue box not appear me type password. password correct.

i don't know problem.

can assist me open external drive, decrypt , rid of stupid bit locker.

hi sana,

it idea use bitlocker protect hard drives. please provide following needed information:

1. how try access drive?
2. pop-up message when trying access drive?

3. external hard drive?

you can turn off bitlocker drive encryption following these steps:

  1. login administrator pc.

  2. click start, click control panel, click security, , click bitlocker drive encryption.

  3. from bitlocker drive encryption page, find volume on want bitlocker drive encryption turned off, , click turn off bitlocker drive encryption.

  4. from what level of decryption want dialog box, click either disable bitlocker drive encryption or decrypt volume needed.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
