Permentely changing icons sizes - Microsoft Community


hi

i have question, accidentally changed icon size big icons , changed  medium icons .the problem when shut down later opened laptop icons were 

massize use be. 

someone please me !!!!

may check zoom size settings of computer. may have mistakenly zoom in desktop size. this, press ctrl key while scrolling mouse wheel.

issue occurs if icon cache not updated. can resolve rebuilding icon cache. it, kindly follow steps below:

  1. press windows key + x on keyboard.
  2. choose control panel.
  3. on search field, type file explorer options, , hit enter.
  4. click file explorer options.

  5. click view, uncheck hide extensions known file types , hide protected operating system files (recommended), , check show hidden files, folders, , drives. when done, click ok. (if warning window appears, click "yes".)
     
  6. go start menu, type %userprofile%\appdata\local, hit enter.
     
  7. right-click on iconcache.db, click delete.
     
  8. restart computer.

before doing so, suggest create restore point. it, follow steps below:

  1. on start menu, type create restore point.
  2. on system properties window, click system protection tab.
  3. click create, , ask create restore point.
  4. select apply, hit enter.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
