Windows 10 - PC rebooting when waking from hibernate - Microsoft Community

hi everyone,

i'm have annoying issue new windows 10 pc, hp spectre x360. previously, on surface pro 4, hibernate mode worked expected once enabled; didn't use power when in hibernate mode, , on turning pc on came programs , files left them.

with new pc however, if in hibernate mode longer 30 minutes, when powered on it's it's been rebooted, , none of programs open. quite irritating use hibernate mode exclusively, , if i'm unable fix result in pc being taken store.

any ideas? all of drivers date, , happens , without external devices connected.

to issue windows 10 pc rebooting when waking hibernate, may try following troubleshooting steps resolve issue:

1. right-click  windows icon > device manager > system devices.

2. right-click on intel(r) management engine interface > choose properties.

3. in properties dialog, choose power management tab.

4. un-check allow computer turn off device save power option.

5. click ok, close device manager, restart computer.
