Windows 10 problem after update to version1607 kepps printing an error - Microsoft Community

after computer updated windows 10 version 1607 last night, it requested needed restart. did go start-> power-> update , restart.

the desktop pc restarted after little while started printing page after page with:

"get /devmgmt/productconfigcap.xml http/1.1

host: "

about 20 times per page, generating 10 sheets same printing.

meantime screen remained black although mouse icon visible , active. after half hour without other action did hard restart on computer got me welcome screen asking pin. entered pin , seemed work started print same page described above , pc remained static on black screen again on half hour.

tried 3 more times, kept printing same type of pages.

finally after fifth restart , entering pin brought desktop screen, still prints several pages same message.

if turn off computer go through same steps printing , black screen. once got desktop screen decided keep computer on permanently.

how can solve problem? , suggestions appreciated.

well, following suggestion did run defender found no threats or other infection. ran disk cleaner too. make sure ran ccleaner , got junk out 1.5gb. ran wise registry cleaner (free) most recent version. once did restarted pc. voila! no more automatic printing of pages!!!

all clear , working well. problem solved.
