NO Explorer or desktop after login only cursor (only after an - Microsoft Community


hi installed new update on 17th may 2017 , restarted.

after logged in using pin. shows black screen , mouse pointer.

i can open task manager pressing ctrl+shift+esc keys , run c:\ or chrome or anyother app,

 but never shows desktop.

i have no recent hardware upgrade or changes in softwares.

have checked registry shell value "explorer.exe" in hkey-local-machine/windowsnt n on.

to better assist concern, ask following question:

  • what make , model of device?
  • which version , build of windows device running? type winver on search bar, , press enter find out.
  • did encounter interruptions or error codes while updating windows?
  • aside checking registry, other troubleshooting steps have done far resolve issue?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
