Photo Gallery as screensaver. - Microsoft Community


this problem arose after installing 'creator update', 3 days ago, on win10 pro 16gb ram.

everything works before 1 exception. using photo gallery screensaver. after update, photo gallery screensaver starts , works should. mouse movement or keyboard input has no effect in stopping screensaver , going desktop. using, ctrl-alt-del combination way desktop.

i changed screensaver other options, bubbles, 3d writing , others available screensavers. mouse , keyboard wakes system , desktop pops in other screensavers. when using photo gallery, movement of mouse or keyboard produces no effect.

there no other peripherals on system.

concern may caused system issue. recommend check out article: use system file checker tool repair missing or corrupted system files. scans system files , repair missing or corrupted system files. follow step on run system file checker tool (sfc.exe) section.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
