Windows 10 heavily slowing down. - Microsoft Community

hello there! 

i've problem past 4 days , getting agonising can. windows 10 working fine until next day, started slowing down heavily. @ first, clueless happening. 

windows take minutes load, 10-15 minutes literally. clicking on icons, folders or apps wouldn't work either. windows crash time , again , reload. somehow managed sneak task manager , shows disk usage @ 100% without single app running or folder open. 

so far, i've tried every single solution available on internet. tried paging settings, disabled superfetch , windows search (only worsened problem me, lags more now), tried ahci solution many other prominent solutions on web. not single of them works. , sucks. 

furthermore, getting worse each passing day. tried reset windows , gave error right after first restart. tried system restore , found out not available in windows 10 anymore, until unless make recovery point (how disgusting that). previously, i'm unable upgrade 64 bit well. i'm paranoid next because getting ridiculous. grateful if can come working solution instead of posting same useless fixes again. i've lost laptop 100% disk usage issue , not want lose 1 again well. 

to honest, i've been windows user ever since childhood. windows 95 98 2000 nt xp , on. i'm disappointed microsoft , windows i've started making mind switch mac osx. i'm still unable understand how can microsoft take system restore out of it? , windows 10 seems massive blunder if search out internet. microsoft upto? i'm disappointed way much, microsoft not used under bill gates. old days of xp , 7 smh.

• which version , build of windows 10 running on device?
• what make , model of device?
• when did start encountering issue?
