Cannot get Microsoft Edge email addresses to change - Microsoft Community

first off, using windows 10 , hate it.  have friend changed email address.  have gone people deleted old email address , added new one.  everytime try send email, never gets because keeps going old address when on people list shows new one.  use comcast.net , have gone in there make sure have new address (which do).  have checked outlook , have deleted old address there , added  new one.  have idea how problem can fixed.

the best way force edge forget data entered clear cache , cookies. take old information off browser's history including email addresses , passwords have entered in.

to this, may follow steps below:

1. in edge, click on 3 dots button ( ... ) on top right of window.

2. click on settings.

3. under clear browsing data, click on choose clear.

4. ensure form data, passwords are ticked.

5. click on clear. then close , re-launch edge.

try logging email , try sending friend email again. check friend if able receive email.

you may go sent folder , check if email went through correct email address.
