Enter key drops down two lines - Microsoft Community


i got new computer.  affects all programs involve typing.  whenever hit enter key after typing, cursor drops down 2 lines.  because programs affected, appears windows setting.  setting can turn off?  i've been typing 30 years, hitting enter twice new paragraph 30 years, , sudden switch double-enter throwing me off bad.  in addition there times don't want hit enter twice , fighting want cursor takes far longer hitting enter twice when want double space.

please tell me how turn stupid thing off.  thanks.

to better assist you, can run sfc (system file checker) and/or dism (deployment image servicing , management). make sure you're connected internet when doing troubleshooting. so, check article out zigzag3143 (ms -mvp).

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
