How did a picture from my old computer appear on desktop of my new - Microsoft Community


old computer killed ransom-ware.  after normal setup of new computer , registering microsoft, 1 picture used on desktop displayed on new computer.  left clicking depicts picture choice within usual microsoft pictures of snow , water.  i can't find properties trail or location within new computer's picture or documents files.  i save pic computer.  need finding path.

it should located @ %appdata%\microsoft\windows\themes\cachedfiles. if can't find there, try browsing location %appdata%\microsoft\windows\themes\transcodedwallpaper.

note: transcode wallpaper not have file extension. use open with or select image viewer when prompted how want to open file?.

if still can't find it, clear desktop , take screenshot of photo pressing print scrn button on keyboard.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
