What is Homegroup and how do I get it off my Desktop? - Microsoft Community


a new shortcut has appeared unasked on desktop:

this one-person pc , not attached network or group.  way.

this shortcut refuses jump recycle bin when direct so.  how rid of it?

thanks gary - saw doesn't tell me how rid of pest! :(

it's gone (for moment) , here's how did it!

1.  use snipping tool create 'homegroup.png' file , save desktop overwriting icon.

2.  delete desktop.

question is, stay away, or miscrosoft decide really need it , put again? ;}

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
