Windows 10 logs off after a few minutes of inactivity - Microsoft Community


hi,
not sure if computer updated problem started occur overnight. after 2 of 3 minutes of inactivity computer automatically logs off. when move mouse displays login screen , asks password. have not changed power plan settings of display timeouts. have power cable connected. cause , how resolve?

based on information provided, after 5 minutes of inactivity monitor power off. then, stated after moved mouse, windows 10 ask password.

you can prevent windows 10 asking password once monitor resumes sleep. this, follow steps below:

  1. on keyboard, press windows + i.
  2. choose accounts.
  3. select sign-in options.
  4. under require sign-in, choose never drop-down menu.

note: once deactivate feature, device not protected unauthorized access.

if want to go previous option, follow steps 1 3, on step 4, need select when pc wakes sleep drop-down menu.

$AV_ASW folder - Microsoft Community

dear all, lately i've found folder in both c: , d:, named $av_asw. inside there vault folder , within folder, db file can't open notepad or ms access. idea on this? i've tried googling gave me avast instead, however, i've used avast more 3 years now, no such file exist before. virus or bug or malware or whatever? please advice. thanks! what name of file? sounds avasts vault put potentially unwanted or infected files prevent them doing harm. (quarantine) open avast , quarantined items, if know file safe, can recover or can empty quarantine vault , avast remove file. Windows / Windows 10 / Security & privacy / PC

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
