about windows 10 formatting - Microsoft Community


have new laptop of lenevo ideapad 310 core i5  which came windows 10 preinstalled in it, original windows cd not given me after installation, want know if format laptop delete original os(in case windows 10)? thanks!

if want wipe laptop, have 2 options:

1. reset laptop

press shift key whilst clicking restart button, result in laptop starting in windows 10 recovery environment. go troubleshoot - advanced options - reset pc. can choose keep data if have not backed up. or can choose keep nothing - same clean install of windows 10

2. clean install windows 10 latest iso downloaded microsoft website

if not have windows 10 installation media click here to download media creation tool (click on download tool now), can download latest windows 10 iso, create installation media on either flash drive (min 4gb) or dvd

then, boot pc installation media created (change boot order in bios)

since had windows 10 installed , activated on laptop during installation process select 'i reinstalling windows 10 on pc', , activation not issue, laptop have digital entitlement stored on microsoft servers

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
