Turning off Windows Defender and Turning on 3rd party issue - Microsoft Community


noticed this. windows defender has turned on , antivirus (according system , maintance) off. , not allow me take action , turn on... according avast! premiere it's on. in past, windows defender off , using avast! antivirus , zonealarm firewall , serves me well. i'm getting annoyed windows, ideas how set avast! antivirus on , primary virus protection on pc? thanks

uninstall avast avast removal tool (in safe mode)  reinstall avast , if works should disable defender after that,  (long time avast user since 2006)   solution should work properly, avast might've gotten onto passive mode somehow

second option if don't wanna uninstall avast try avast repair, see if fixes properly

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
