Windows 10 RDP Performance - Microsoft Community


just got updated windows 7 windows 10 , using rdp connect work computer on vpn connection.

rdp connection super laggy, if set color depth on older client 32bits. can't seem find of display/experience settings on new rdp client.

can help?

i think figured out... since wonderful new version of rdp doesn't allow reduce color depth on connection, had limit max color depth on "server"...

this article applies to  server2k8, worked on win7 desktop - color depth rdp limited 16bits on desktop, connection more usable.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
