After Windows 10 Creators Update, Power Options are - Microsoft Community
after updating window's 10 creator's update, clicking on power icon start results in message: "there no power options available".
i have attempted following no avail (rebooting needed per each attempt):
- changed power plan (both different preset , new custom plan).
- ran gpedit.msc , ensured user configuration > administrative templates > start menu , taskbar not enabled.
- ran regedit , created registry value noclose value 0 @ hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\explorer.
- ran sfc /scannow admin command prompt; no issues found.
- ran powercfg –restoredefaultschemes admin command prompt.
- ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth admin command prompt; did error @ 99.0% error: 0x800f081f - source files not found. don't know has issue though.
please advise. workaround shutdown/reboot via cmd or ctrl + alt + delete.

change csenabled 1 0 , reboot.
if gives no joy can show individual power options adding 32bit dword value name 'attributes' , value of '2' of keys under: hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\power\powersettings\
