Calendar App wont open - Microsoft Community

while other apps seem working ok (eg photos, news, mail, people etc) nevertheless calendar app not open.

the flash screen displays , app closes after several seconds, or flash screen stays , nothing happens.

it has been working ok since anniversary update of win 10 last july 2016.

but has stopped opening today.

i have tried reboot , restart - doesn't help.

win 10 date updates.

i use outlook mail , calendar use "in house" mail , calendar convenience. {it's synchronised via outlook.com account , imap email account.}

but suddenly, calendar wont open.

i've discovered seems synchronising calendar in outlook.com.

if delete outlook account mail (and therefore calendar) app, calendar app not opens stays open.

sadly, of course, empty , not displaying outlook.com calendar.

the calendar still synchronise oh outlook in office 365 on pc.

its calendar app (from start menu) having problem.

as relink outlook account, closing symptoms re-appear.
