hi, i'm wanting give grandaughter small laptop , i'm wondering if (the user) went through settings etc. lose microsoft id , others? in advance.

regarding question, short answer no. still have microsoft account unless permanently close down.

if want detach microsoft account laptop, it's best follow instructions found in microsoft article: before sell or gift device

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
