Windows 10 Creators update caused video/audio errors. - Microsoft Community


following install of creators update 2 nights ago, video playing :

a: give random microstutters in form of chirping audio, and  brief freezing of video.

b: randomly blacken out browser windows open, disabling ability close them, removes minimize, maximize, , close icons. if weren't fact have dual monitors, i'd have force close ctrl-alt-delete.

using newest nvidia driver : 381.65

again, reiterate, issue not present before install.

ok have found cause of browser blackout (no ms support)

it seems creators update has screwed hardware acceleration in browsers.

i have had disable "use hardware acceleration when available" in order prevent issue, band-aid solution till attended microsoft.

the micro-stuttering different kettle of fish, , take far more time diagnose.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
