Windows 10 freezes randomly - Microsoft Community


windows 10 freezing while being idle or while doing everyday tasks (file explorer or internet browsing).

the screen freezes , not restart itself. can stay days.

i have been experiencing these crashes year or (after 1 big update). haven't managed reproduce freeze during gaming.

i tried think of : 

clean os reinstall

memtest - came out clean

setting power max performance

removing lan card

disabling not account in bios

the issue can reproduced on new account nothing itunes installed (i reproduced freeze while browsing some songs in windows explorer)

my pc configuration : 

i5 - 4440

z87-d3hp latest bios

8 gb ddr 3 ram

radeon r7 260x 2gb

crucial ssd

1 tb hdd

please provide more information cause of problem may diagnosed.

 

please restart computer , allow 20 minutes system run before uploading information required me investigate problem. when examining event viewer log files many, not all, problems show in period after computer has been booted.

 

please provide copy of system information file. access system information file select keyboard shortcut win+r, type msinfo32 and click ok . place cursor on system summary. select file, export , give file name noting located. click save. files in txt file format preferred.do not place cursor within body of report before exporting file.the system creates new system information file each time system information accessed. need allow minute or 2 file populated before exporting copy. please upload file onedrive, share , post link here. if report in language other english, please state language.

 

please upload onedrive , share copy of system log file from event viewer , post link here. please remove earlier copies of logs onedrive.

 

to access system log select keyboard shortcut win+r, type eventvwr.msc , press the enter key. list in left side of window select windows logs , system. place cursor on system, select action menu , save events as (the default evtx file type) , give file name. not provide filtered files. do not place cursor in list of reports before selecting action menu. not clear logs whilst have continuing problem.
