So confused by various accounts - Microsoft Community

hello. in process of changing email address in online accounts, , confused something. previously, have microsoft community user account, , when tried log in email update, rejected password. did "forgot password" option, , able in , changed email address. worked way through online accounts, discovered skype involved microsoft, , when went log in there, did kind of linking , unsure of how many microsoft log in ids have, since seem different between records 2 accounts thought had.

to add complications, (within past few months) got new laptop, , seems me required microsoft log in , running, have normal log in access computer other computer -  desktop profile log in.

does make sense? there way find out how many user profiles have , rid of ones - confusing. know microsoft trying make easier linking things, making me tear hair out!

hi! ok, weird - replying myself newly created acct since locked out of 3 accounts - 2 microsoft accts (one username daniel4ever created accident tonight, original acct username scififan_md) , skype acct. have tried account recovery cannot provide enough info because jumbled up, , recovery email not real email because @ point when trying fix mess typed knows what!

so, abandon , start on distressed not able clean out skype acct.  have emailed microsoft support, , hope maybe can delete accounts locked out of or @ leat clean them out me.

does know how make sure there no linking ever of accounts? @ least google gives me option. never, ever, link anything!!!!!
