Windows 10 versions not affected by wannacry - Microsoft Community


which 64 bit versions of windows 10 not affected wannacry?

thanks reply , take security , thankfully not click happy user mention. though, wannacry, i'm @ mercy of click happy user on same network am. 

after looking in more, believe personal machine running windows 10, though not updated latest version of windows, patched , safe wannacry.

for else trying figure out on windows 10:

  • click on start icon
  • type "winver" , hit enter, opens windows version dialog box.
  • take note of windows version , os build number.
  • if windows version # 1703
    • you protected against current exploit.
  • if windows version # 1607:
    • check if os build number equal or greater 14393.953
    • if greater, should protected current wannacry exploit.
    • if it's not, should upgrade
  • if windows version # less 1607, upgrade immediately.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
