Missing Tiles/Start Button - Microsoft Community

downloaded scanguard. 2 days later start button stopped working. tried suggestions on microsoft etc. nothing worked. downloaded powershell. start button worked menu different - ok me. however, tiles (which on old menu) missing. how these or, alternatively, create them?

to address issue regarding missing programs, kindly give details on following:

• have removed scanguard already?
• have tried scanning virus or malware?

in meantime, suggest try start menu troubleshooter link. also, here's article scanguard give ideas.
