Window constantly pops up for a split second and disappears - Microsoft Community

hi all,

i've been having problem past 2 weeks or , been unable understand or solve it. once or twice every hour, less, @ no specific times small window pops on screen split-second , disappears regardless of i'm doing @ moment (working in excel, watching movie, browsing web etc...). i've tried looking @ task scheduler , event viewer unable find matches times of random popups. i've tried focusing on window's title when popup appears didn't provide me information of causing trouble. strange i've scanned pc quite number of times , no threats found.

solution:

think have found bastard. indeed in task scheduler , fix has worked me:

go task scheduler disable task 'officebackgroundtaskhandlerregistration'. task, head left panel in task scheduler , find 'office' folder located in library, followed navigating 'microsoft'. once there disable task , has stopped hourly pop me.
