edit:
problem seem related faulty wifi driver installation - odd because wifi works nicely - asus ai suite 3 reports this:

, when attempting install driver ("wi-fi driver v7.35.317.1 windows 10 32bit & 64bit.(whql)") it starts install, seem stop , silently exists without warnings. find wlan-autoconfig "wlan extensibility module has stopped. ... "-event in event viewer!

please advise!

 thank you.

hi, harald.

based on information provided, seem able pinpoint cause of issue. suggest disabling wireless lan in bios, update windows 10, latest wi-fi drivers wi-fi manufacturer's website.
